The ‘Camp Diary’ provides an insight into the Bedfordshire Training Depot from 1914-16. Based on newspaper reports of the time.

March 1915 – Daily Express columnist Mr Arthur Wright visited the Camp on 1 March. This is the 39th camp Mr Wright has visited since the declaration of war, and in his view the finest. The two articles were published in the Bedfordshire Standard by kind permission of Mr Ralph Bloomenfeld, Editor of the Daily Express.
